Gideon is another of our Eastern Washington University alumni. His résumé includes a Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning, a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resources Management, and an American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) certificate. Prior to joining Studio Cascade, Gideon worked for the Spokane County Boundary Review Board, where he provided expert review of measures in the context of State Growth Management Act (GMA) and State Environmental Protection Act (SEPA) requirements. Gideon is one of the best GIS mapping experts we know of, and he's quite active in promoting sustainable planning practices through symposia and academic lecture events. Gideon currently serves as Member at-large on the Board of the Inland Empire Section of the American Planning Association.
