Recent experience includes Ellensburg, Washington's comprehensive plan update - a 2007 APA/PAW award-winning effort that engaged a full 14% of the voting population. Other projects? There's the corridor plan and development regulations update for the town of Rockford, Washington - winner of a 2006 State APA/PAW award - and the Bellingham, Washington “Community Forum on Growth Management, which garnered a 2005 State APA/PAW award.

Off-hours, Rick helps lead a local non-profit group that's carrying forward another award-winning, Olmsted brothers' inspired parks plan for Spokane's famous falls and gorge area!
